The De'Longhi DC50B Twenty Four Seven Drip Coffee Maker features a shower head design that helps to extract your coffee's full, natural flavor by allowing water to completely saturate all coffee grounds, and it's pause and serve function allows you to interrupt the brewing cycle and pour a cup of coffee. It's push button control makes it easy to use and the easy-access filter basket with permanent washable filter makes removing the filter a snap.
Customer Review: Not a good choice.
The coffee can not be poured without drippling and the basket fits very precariously. If you put it in wrong, it will flood the counter with coffee because the basket does not empty. I know! It's a messy setup anyway you look at it.
Customer Review: POOR DESIGN
Whoever designed the decanter for this coffee maker must not have tried pouring with hot coffee. It doesn't matter if I pour fast or slowly, full or half pot -- it ALWAYS drips and spills. So, I've become accustomed to just pouring my morning coffee over the kitchen sink to prevent the countertop mess and potential burns. Recently it's gotten very hard to open the filter compartment, and would be virtually impossible for anyone with arthritis to do so. Thankfully, I just received a brand new Cuisinart as a gift, so this piece of Delonghi garbage is finally in the trash where it belongs.
